Dreadhairstyles.com Return/Exchange/Refund Policy

Returns

Due to Health Code Regulations, no product that has been worn or used in your hair can be resold.  With that in mind, we can not accept returns, exchanges or issue refunds on opened hair products.  Returns will be accepted and refunds or exchanges issued for unopened products only.  All returned products must be in perfect manufacturer's condition, undamaged in any way and a valid sales receipt must be included.  A valid receipt is an original sales receipt, gift receipt or packing slip.  If you do not have a packing slip, please contact us.  Returns must be reported or claimed within 5 days of receipt of products. 

Shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable.

Any package returned or refused by neglect of the customer will receive a refund, less shipping and handling, in the form of a site credit only.  If the customer would like to have the package re-shipped, they will be charged additional shipping and handling charges.

In order to make a return for exchange or refund, please do the following:

Email us at contactus@dreadhairstyles.com within 5 days of receipt with your name, order number and a reason for the return. While we try to be timely in our responses to email, email is not 100% dependable.  If you don't hear from us regarding your return within 48 hours, please resend your email. 

Place item in similar packaging that it was mailed in with a copy of your receipt, gift receipt of packing slip.

Return must be made within 15 days of purchase.

All sales of sale items are FINAL.

Exchanges

Exchanges will be made only for unopened products.  Exchanged items will be subject to additional shipping charges.

Missing or Incorrect Items:

Please contact contactus@dreadhairstyles.com within 5 days if there is an item missing from your order.  The missing items will be shipped out the next business day following receipt of your email.

Missing or incorrectly shipped items will be replaced with the item identical to the one originally ordered, subject to availability, or a site credit will be issued.  Re-shipping of replacement item will be paid for by Knotty Inc.

Refunds

Refunds will be made only for unopened products.  Shipping charges are non refundable.  Additionally, shipping charges for items being returned are the responsibility of the customer.  Once your package has been processed a refund will be issued and credited back to your account, less shipping and handling charges.  For credit card orders, please allow 1-2 billing statements for your credit to appear.

Knotty Inc. reserves the right to deny a refund if it is believed that our policies have been abused.
